Description
The Oskar sliding suction rail is designed to facilitate the movement of fume extraction equipment, such as fume arms or hose drops, between various sources of air pollution. This system is ideal for use in manual and automatic welding, machining processes, and automotive exhaust extraction in car repair facilities. The sliding suction rail allows one or two fume extraction units to be easily relocated to different emission points.
The main component of the sliding suction rail system is a standard 4-meter long segment constructed from aluminium profiles, reinforcements, and an exhaust trolley. The trolley, with a standard inlet diameter of 160 mm, travels between self-sealing rubber flaps. These segments can be connected to create extended, movable extraction systems. The trolley is designed to be compatible with Oskar fume extraction arms or hose drops, which include a set of elastic hoses, nozzles, and balancers.
The Rails
- Oskar self-supporting fume arm – the sliding suction rail is normally made to direct mounting 6″/160 mm fume arms, to mount arms with other diameters an additional flange is required.
- Flexible hoses for extraction of vehicle combustion gases (different diameters and lengths) – in this case one flange connector is needed and also a gear clamp. The other end of hose is equipped with a nozzle. To hang it to the rail use a balancer.
