The Giant 2 Mobile Cartridge Filter is designed to extract and filter dry airborne pollutants, particularly those produced during welding, grinding, polishing, and cutting of metals and plastics. This high-performance unit features a three-stage filtration system to ensure superior air quality.
The first stage includes a metal mesh prefilter, which acts as a spark-trap to capture larger particles and sparks. The second stage is the main cartridge filter, which effectively removes finer particulates from the air. The third stage comprises an activated carbon filter at the outlet, which eliminates odors and any remaining impurities, ensuring the cleanest possible air output.
For maintenance, the Giant 2 is equipped with a standard manual regeneration system, allowing for the cleaning of the main cartridge during operation. There is also an optional timer-controlled system available for automated cleaning.
The Giant 2 Mobile Cartridge Filter is recommended for the most demanding applications where continuous exhaust and filtration are required. To maximize efficiency, it is advised to use Oskar 160 or Oskar 200 standing fume arms, available in 2 or 3-meter reach models, for at-source pollutant capture.
Optional configurations for the Giant 2 include LED lights built into the Oskar arm hood for improved visibility and a photosensor-triggered automatic operation system for enhanced efficiency. These features make the Giant 2 Mobile Cartridge Filter a versatile and powerful solution for maintaining a clean and safe industrial work environment.
