The Crawlair Overhead cartridge filter is engineered to control dry air pollution, such as fumes and dust, generated by various industrial processes, including welding, grinding, polishing, and cutting metals or plastics.
This overhead filtration unit features a comprehensive multi-stage filtration system. The first stage is a metal mesh spark trap filter that captures larger particles and sparks, preventing them from reaching the main filters. The second stage consists of two high-efficiency polyester filter cartridges with a 99% filtration efficiency for particles as small as 1 micron. These cartridges are maintained through a built-in manual compressed air cleaning system, with an optional timer-controlled feature and a 10-liter tank for added convenience.
For optimal at-source fume capture, the Crawlair Overhead is compatible with Oskar hanging fume arm models 1620 and 1630, as well as Econ hose arms H1620 and H1630. These arms effectively direct fumes and dust into the filtration system, ensuring a cleaner work environment.
Additionally, the Crawlair Overhead offers optional features such as an automatic start/stop function and an LED light kit for the Oskar fume arms. These enhancements improve operational efficiency and visibility, making the Crawlair Overhead a highly effective solution for maintaining air quality in industrial settings.
