Oskar’s swinging extension booms are designed to extend the reach of self-supporting arms or other exhaust products such as hose reels and flexible hose drops. These booms enable access to areas distant from a wall or mounting point and can also support items like feeders or underslung hoses and cables. Each boom features top and bottom outlets on the wall mounting bracket, ready to accommodate a fan or duct connection.
Manufactured from heavy-gauge square steel tube welded to a robust hinge, the extension booms are built for durability. They come standard with an inlet bracket for mounting Oskar fume arms. The double pivot type extension booms are divided by a center hinge, allowing users to reach back under the boom or around corners with ease.
The absence of internal mechanisms within the boom duct ensures minimal pressure drop and low noise levels. All adjustment mechanisms are located externally, facilitating easy maintenance and operational adjustments without disrupting the exhaust flow or contacting polluted air streams.
