The Tele 160 telescopic fume extraction arm is specifically designed for use in small, confined spaces, particularly those with low ceilings. Its unique construction emphasizes the absence of internal mechanisms, except for an essential air flow damper (with no damper model available). The arm features external cast aluminum joints and two tubes that can telescopic and rotate within each other.
Unlike traditional designs, the Tele 160 does not require counterweights for operation. Its smooth tube design ensures minimal pressure drop and low noise levels, while maintaining durability and facilitating straightforward maintenance, consistent with all other Oskar tube arms.
External adjustments enable tension corrections without interrupting air exhaust, avoiding contact with polluted air streams or the arm’s interior. This design ensures practicality and efficiency in managing welding fumes, dust, and other airborne contaminants directly at their source, making it an ideal choice for compact environments where space and efficiency are critical considerations.
